Target is going to $15 per hour by the end of the year.

Walmart has to move and lead in this area.

Are all stores going to 15 or just certain ones? Goes by state?

Pay at our store is supposed to be a minimum of $15.00 an hour for lowest associates. Other pay grades will be compensated accordingly, example (pay grade D $20.00/hour).

Nope, Targets fiscal year starts in February, same as Walmart.

I think Target's year starts in July.

The attendance policy.................interesting how some get their call ins approved while others get held accountable for call ins. Depends on who you are. Seems unfair to me.

Why wouldn't they change wages in the middle of the year? Target apparently did...

They wouldn't change the wage rate in the middle of the year. They matched Target last February @ $11.00. Then Target went $12.00 in July or August.

They used to give 40 cent raises. The last 2 years have been awful with 20 cent raises. They make so much money but don’t feel it is necessary to pay a living wage. And they don’t seem to care that the competition is paying more. They didn’t even match Target’s 12 dollars. There will be a high turn over rate when they change the point system. But the favorites will just get their points taken off like they do now.

Even if you get a raise it wont be an actual raise, at most you'll get 2%, just enough to make the same as last year with inflation. Keep in mind that is a best case scenario at this company, to make the same as last year. It's pretty sad that such a profitable company refuses to ever give an actual raise, why would anyone work hard for this company??

No raises that I’ve heard of.

5 attendance occurrences in 6 months vs the 9 allowed now before separation from the company.
