What do you mean by "happy"? More STAY people or more money to LEAVE?

It's over.

Everything is Signed by CA and Unions.

Both parts are happy now

What's this? Italians striking and complaining about arbitrary nitpickings? Gee, what a surprise. Can't wait for Broadcom to shut down that underperforming location and move those Jobs to another EU location that deserves them.

@XiUwuC2-5ipf of course strike is a right in labour law in Italy.

It is also the right of Broadcom to downsize Italy footprint as much as possible. This is what will happen.

It is therefore better for Italian workers to go to another company.

Strike is a right in Italy. Before stating incorrect assumptions, you better get properly informed. Useless comments and trolling do not help anyone.

This happened in Holland many years back... Some genius decided to strike - and Charles closed down the entire office - told everyone to get lost. A few weeks later - office opened back up again..... Lesson learned....

"Maybe you have not understood. the strike is to help people fired, not the STAY ones"

And the result is going to be bad for everyone. For the small number of employees in that office, they will just close the whole thing now. Congratulations, your whining is going to get all your former colleagues fired too.

What the office doesn’t realize by going on strike is it will be a short term win, but a long term loss.

No doubt they will prevail in the strike. It is their right under Italian law.

But Broadcom can simply choose to exit the Italian market, or service it from elsewhere. It just means the lawyers will have to look at the labor laws a bit more closely and find an exception or loophole.

Italian unemployment rate forecasted to rise to 11%. Good luck.
