We can see it’s 40 to 50 in Aberdeen. What are the other areas laying off ?

Pol pot. You old timer. You’re showing your age along with ignorance. No one is getting killed just Jobs. Obviously you don’t have skills to learn or use after March. you ole sheep herder
Be careful, we are speaking about a company that just now has the morals and ethics that would make Pol Pot cringe.
Maybe they announced the redundancies and are intentionally holding off so we walk.
Redundancies cost money and DQ will do all that they can to ensure this transition costs as little as possible.
Arthur Scargill is right. Down tools until we get some answers
The future's uncertain and the end is always near
Total lack of leadership.
DQ has about a week left before the doors shut for good and it won’t be management who shut them it will be your workforce out of total disgust.
If our management are incapable of making decisions we will make for you.
The end is near!
Dq still to announce how many jobs per area in DQE are to be layed off. With Rep meetings beginning next week and no numbers yet. It shows they have not got a clue what they are doing. Just hope we all get a chance at voluntary redundancy, as DQI have p@ssed off so many people with lack of info and uncertainty, all the long term and skilled workers want out now. Leave DQ with the sh@te to rescue them in difficult times.
First wave is crashing this Friday...
Apologies grammar Natzi, “arrogant”: unpleasantly proud and behaving as if you are more important than, or know more than, other people???
aragont???
No wonder why DQE is in shambles.
Hence the reason why Dril quip will not survive.
It not an organisation that adapts, it’s the people who work within that organisation that adapt. This pushes change. Changes are made on the spot by those who know and do the job, this saves time and makes profit. Most of that knowledge to make those changes is going to be lost.
The answers have always been there but our management are so aragont the won’t listen.
Lean department and management, both of whom have never done the job are now dictating without listening to what the shop floor is telling them. Good luck with that approach.
Right easy numbers, 50 DQE. Leaving +200 for DQ Houston and DQA. Looks like you guys haven’t been told yet how many in each area. Looks like you’ll only know once you get the tap on the shoulder to get out of the building. DQE getting off lightly compare to the two other areas.
DQE is the only facility made profit during the downturn and it seems they are the most affected due to Redundancy.
So the thread started with a question regarding quantity of redundancies globally and has turned into an exchange of insults between DQI and DQE. We’re doomed for failure.
On another note, some of you lot really need to go back to school and learn some grammar.
DQE has baaaaad quality
If the quality of your grammar reflects the quality of work at DQH, I don't think anyone at DQE needs to feel jealous of anyone at DQH.
Houston the bestest quality!!
We make Gooder product than anybody
dqe is insanely jealous of Houston.
We do greatest job. dqe only job good is sheep. But even sheep say they are baaaaad.
FREEDOM!!!
That's why the grape masters plan will never work. Certain customer's will only deal with DQE due to DQH being pi*h. Is grape boy going to turn away their custom? I think not!
Houston quality is a piece of sh--e.
Long live DQE!!!
Only in your dreams. DQE are getting robbed of all their work because Houston have nothing to do due to no customer wanting to touch any of Houston's well known poor quality products.
Nothing at Houston, Tx
We are the best worker
