What has anyone heard about the broadcast next Thursday? What are everyone's thoughts? Do you believe we will be eliminated?

MHRM 's say nothing is going on. They lie to your face and swear to it. They cannot say a word or lose their jobs if they tell us the truth. I trust no one. We will find out Thursday what is going on. Even then, you think they will tell us our jobs are being eliminated? Heck no some of us would quit. What would they do then? Maybe they would actually have to learn our jobs and do it. But then again, they are good at barking out orders but have no clue what the PC/TC actually does. Most of the ASM's have no clue what the PC/TC does on a daily basis. Interesting how when the PC/TC does something good or does an exceptional job at taking care of associates, we don't hear "Great job" but when something is wrong, we hear about it. Tired of all the politics and favoritism.
Yes they will stand up there in front of us all and tell us that these rumors are false and tell us not to believe them and blah blah blah and not to worry blah blah blah and then shut down any questions or concerns we have while pumping us full of sunshine :/
Real question is will they even address the elephant in the room or talk about everything but that?

Seriously doubt anyones "fate" will be decided on this broadcast. I'm sure we will all learn of changes affecting pto, time off etc.
What I understand is we will be watching broadcast along with store managers at meeting so we will all learn our fate at the same time.....no more rumors

I had a co-manager tell me less than a week ago that the TC position will just merge into the PC position. I also know a PC who did not get a new TC after her TC quit. She said she was told by out MHRM that she was not getting a new TC b/c the position was being eliminated. Our MHRM told her this months ago. Maybe in like October.

There has been talk to get rid of Personnel for years. We have a PC/TC meeting January 31st and we will know more then. If Personnel elimination happens, so be it. I have worked for Walmart for 25 years in numerous roles. What happens, happens, I am ready for it. Like I said, I am thankful I have a job, what ever that may be. We all know, Walmart is a company of change. If you don't like change, you aren't working for the right company.
Not consolidating into one position, not yet. That most likely will occur towards the end of the year. 3rd Q most likely TC position will go away.
PC Will take much bigger role Q1 with attendance, but will not have role in scheduling.

YBM is broken up into rotations the mangers goto on different subjects. There is one on HR / People that will cover any HR issues the company wants us to know. Updates, changes, plans etc...
What is people rotation?

Rumor has it, that it will be consolidated into one position and given a new title.
At this point I really don’t know. I have heard so many rumors. I will not be shocked if it happens. I know our regional market manager is going to be there and our meeting is not at the store. We won’t know the truth until the meeting.
