Not Vegas, San Diego!
They are holding on to San Diego.
This is a shell company that DCEH will put the underwater assets in so they don’t have to bankrupt their entire company. They’ll move the schools and underperforming assets here and then bankrupt it b/c no foundation in their right mind would fund it.
Not sure this is legal unless the department of education and accreditors permit it.
DCEH seems reactive and unprepared. This is likely some afterthought protective legal scheme that won’t stand up over time. They got some bad advice.
What I can’t figure out is why DCEH is holding on to AiO and Vegas — an unsustainable business model and a school in sin city. Real mission driven institution eh?
General consensus from whats left of the management structure is that once dceh is done with their receiver layoffs the EPF people will let us know who they are and whats the deal for the future
