Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Words of Wisdom

I stay because the management has checked out and doesn't care anymore so I can surf the net on my phone, go into a back room and take a nap, stock a few shelves with the little merchandise we get in, and sit around and talk to my co-workers all day, watch a little T.V.. There are no customers. Like getting free money, why leave?

Well said @XhKVH3z-ztz Eddie is soaking the creditors. So are we. Just enjoy the ride while it lasts, and don't sweat the little things

If you're metrics are up especially PA's you can pretty much take a dump on a managers chest and they wouldn't say anything they're under so much pressure to keep those metrics up it's just creates awful employees, not all but I'm sure alot take advantage of that in most stores especially now since most the sales associates that gave a sh-- about their job have left

Taking a nap is easy here in HE. With this huge campus and so many empty areas, including one entire building, there are plenty of comfortable and very seculded places to disappear for a few hours.

@fic why do you have to work so hard to help Eddie destroy Sears and lose $12B? Wouldn't it be easier to just pay everyone to set them all on fire? It would have accomplished about the same thing.

The workers did their part. Eddie just used the money earned to grease his pockets instead of maintaining stores, advertising, updating technology, logistics, and investing in infrastructure and people. And now Sears is left without knowledge, with crumbling infrastructure, a broken supply chain, a destroyed supply chain, worthless real estate, and empty parking lots, shelves and stores. That's not on the workers. That's on Eddie. There's nothing to do but take a nap with no inventory and no customers.

That's why the stores are the way they are. Losers like you going I'm for a free ride. Sad there are workers like you.
