Thread regarding Dean Foods Co. layoffs

I left Dean a couple of months ago and that departure opened my eyes. We weren’t valued as employees back when the company wasn’t is as many problems as it is today. Why would they bother to treat us any better in these conditions? The fact is the company is in downfall, without any real vision, and what the leaders are doing now is mostly to prolonge the disaster as they want to “milk the cow” as long as possible. I don’t know about some high corporate positions, but why would plant workers go through this treatment when it is possible to find jobs at least in the same paying range.
