EPI has been established since 1992 (Colbeck Foundation). Better days ahead for the campuses under this new umbrella. The board has some solid talent. Too bad all could not be absorbed but the mess was vast.
We can only hope the DOE is gutted or gotten rid of all together. Government has no place in education other than regulation of fraud against students. $57 billion a year to this department and the USA ranks 20-27 in performance. It's turned into another slush fund. Kids use ED loand to purchase vehicles, electronics, vacations. Insanity!

Betsy Devos saved a lot of jobs by supporting this transfer. Everyone would be fine if Democrats didn't try to regulate everything to death under Obama. Less regulation is better for everyone Everytime. Capitalism will always be better than socialism. So sick of seeing jobs lost by government regulators.

Thanks, David! I knew there was something odd about the press release; NO mention of 'who' runs either EPF nor Studio Enterprise. The whole MSA with Studio Enterprise is nothing but a 'cash-grab' by those who own EPF. Betsy Devos allowing this to happen (or better yet 'putting the deal together') makes me sick. Please keep reporting on this story, you appear to be the only one who is willing to investigate and report on what is happening in the For-Profit Education sector.
