Does anyone know what the current severance package is, if any?

Ill tel you want severance pay is these days it is this .... NOTHING ! But I took it like a man and I didnt let that fat rent a cop security jerk grab my arm to escort me out of the building either.
HR (Ms. Piggy and company) does what they want to do. HR has to much power and lawyers to back them up. Best thing to do is get out of town (the company), find another job.
Easy enough go to the intranet site look up the hr policy on serverance. Print it off and carry it with you.
It depends on how well you kissed your managers a--. Some get 2 weeks with a week per year of service while others get just 2 weeks.

So they cut your pay then lay you off so they reduce the amount of your severance ?
That’s the max. It’s 2 weeks with a week per year of service - total capped at 8.
Unlimited vacation there after.
Doubt it’s 2 months...more like 2 weeks minimum plus additional weeks depending on years of service.
Two months at your current rate and prorated vacation.
