Safety Last
You don’t need a union to stand together. Every one get on the same page, and resist. It’s us against them, not our choice, but they made it that way. If we all agree to to slow down, we can win.
I completely understand that, the issue is that they want this fiber up ASAP and make it mandatory to do a certain amount of footage per crew or warehouse and everyone is in competition with each other.
Work slower, make sure you are doing what you need to do to be safe. And if the company pushes you to be unsafe, call osha. They are here to protect the workers, not punish us. Just make sure YOU are doing the rite thing, document events you think are unsafe, and take advantage of having osha around to protect us. Forget unions, osha never loses to a corporation.
Nothing about running this fiber is safe from pulling 500ft to running 15000ft..if you don’t work in that department then you won’t understand.
What world are you living in? I’m not afraid, it’s more like I need that check every 2 weeks. It’s about having priorities right and proving for my family. You must be a millennial lol..You still living at home with mommy and daddy to aren’t ya buddy lol..

If OSHA went to any site they would fine so many things that aren’t done correctly it’s not even funny. People don’t understand how under paid we all are! Quickest and cheapest way to build a fiber network and we are all doing it.
