It usually happens in the week of 20 - 30 of Jan. In my team its happened on 27 Jan and once on the 24 Jan 2017.
A friend had weekly 1-1 and no one doubted it. They usually chuck out people with 2.5 to 5 years in VMware. New hires dont need to worry.

The package is good, usually 3 months of salary. 1 month salary for every year in VMware. So 3 years will get 6 months salary and so one.

It was two years back my colleague was laid off and he got 11 months salary as he worked for 5.5 years.
Last year was two months salary and one week per year tenure, now Dell is more involved may not be as lucrative
D-Day is Tuesday the 29th.
severance is completely wrong. it's 1 week per year not 1 month. You can scroll back to last year and see for yourself, also some people near me got cut last year and confirmed the severance package

If that severance package is accurate I’d take 9 months pay no problem.
