MidMarket had a couple of RSDs let go today. Couple "transferred" to new roles - probably demoted. 2.0 is near and so is Orlando in March!

Watch.... that HR meeting is going to be a "we are done with right sizing now" meeting. We have all seen this before and we know it BS.
Staples/Sycamore have a huge problem on their hands and its called business failure.
I can see the upcoming sell off by Sycamore closing in fast and they will take a bath. They know this.
The problem is - who in their right mind would by this garbage?
I was let go as well. I can't figure out the criteria for who they kept. It was strange.
Found out I was let go today. 8 years of service and no home was found for me. Time for the next opportunity

Are you kidding? Unemployment is the lowest it's been in many years. Employers are competing for talent because it is so scarce.
It’s not that easy to find employment elsewhere and I am sure many have been looking. My heart goes out to those who have been cut and those yet to be cut but this may be a blessing in disguise.
I have stopped feeling sorry for the people that have been witness to all the layoffs thinking they are somehow immune or it won’t happen to me attitude-and then it’s their turn. Plain and simple truth is everyone’s days are numbered. If not today then next time. This company will be toast in 3-5 yrs. stay at your own peril or be smart and find a career.... not just a job. Let the trolls come out of hiding and start the cheerleading.......now LMAO. Final thought— ever wonder how a company can justify laying off revenue generating positions and at the same time spend $100,000 of thousands of dollars on first an HR meeting ( probably to pat each other on the back for all the layoffs they have been doing) and now a national meeting in Orlando? Totally disgusting behavior. Only thing different from the old Staplea management and vision— is the names of the people in charge have changed.
