Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Question to those who stayed

I left AIPOD shortly after Dr. Schwalb took over after being there for 3 years. I see on Linkedin that many of you stayed and moved to Argosy, why? Presumably, you've got 5-7 years of (admittedly) good inside sales training. Unemployment is soooo low right now, why haven't you left? There are a lot of jobs out there and at good companies in Pittsburgh. I know it's the same all over the country because I work all over now and see it everywhere.

Is it a factor of your comfort zone? And I'm not speaking to the old timers here who hit the matrix. You're lifers who will go down with the ship and I don't blame you because you're likely making 90-100k and are locked in at that with the same goals as your neighbors making 40k sitting right next to you.

Those Who Stayed are now mostly gone and those remaining will soon be gone. Farewell.

I'm a full time instructor waiting to be laid off so I can get my unemployment and move out of the state. If I find a job before that, I will quit and move out of the state.
