Kaiser Georgia is reducing the number of front staff and admin workers. Three positions have been combined into one and more kiosks have been placed In facilities. Nurses have been laid off .. trying to get information from management is like pulling teeth. Very stressful time .
Looks like this is not just a rumor. Have any other locations been hit by these changes?
RN admin worker here. Got the ax today! Sad thing is I left a job with four year tenure as a telecommuter in May only to get laid off today! Smh! So sad
GA: How this lay off is being handled is surprising. 1 week for every 6 months? Several received their official letter today with last day being the 30th. It’s very hush like a secret...RN’s being let go.
Its true. Major layoffs in Georgia. I've been notified my RN position and I believe hundreds of other RN positions have been eliminated. The doctors I work with are shocked and don't know how they'll manage.
Very sad the way they handled GA. They don"t even have their last dates yet so people are just sitting ducks. The severance is terrible. 1 week pay for every 6 months. How do you pay people one week when they were getting paid every two weeks? Kaiser should be ashamed as well as the union. I think they will pull out of GA shortly

I work for TSPMG and I’m terrified that we’re next. I am an admin employee and have heard there were layoffs on the Healthplan side. Any inside info would be greatly appreciated.

Colorado is struggling as well. Already 200 laid off, medical offices closing and rumors of another purge on 2/1 and more office closures. Union staff is being told positions are being eliminated but it’s all under lock and key about what will happen.
Interesting to know Georgia is experiencing it too.
It’s region wide in Georgia. Not sure about the rest of the regions. I heard something about Colorado having lay-offs too.
