There are a number of good bright students but really lazy students at Ai. The ones I’ve spoken with think it’ll all be ok. It’s too much trouble to try and transfer. I personally do not get it. It’s like someone in Pompeii saying “it’s just a little lava, it’ll be ok.”

When will students be told at Pittsburgh campus? Can they get money back for this semester?
Students are still unaware that anything is going on. No emails have been sent. Faculty are for the most part unaware, no email from administrators and it’s past closing time.

Be slightly fair; maybe EM hasn’t checked his email since 5pm Friday. He might not even know about the receivership yet.
Be slightly fair; almost everyone was probably out of the office for MLK. Now if theres nothing said further to staff on Tuesday at the DCEH locations, then maybe theres some concern on if/when students and staff will know whats happening.
Ai Pittsburgh hasn't had any formal meetings or informed the student body.

What is the last withdraw day to still get 100% of your money for the semester? The announcement to students will go out the day after probably.

No announcements to students at AiP/AiO have been made at this point.
No internal communications to staff. Administrators are silent. Only information is from the DCEH 14th and 18th emails.
The WASC letter requires that the students be informed, so yes, the students will be told. Ours will be.
There is no reason for faculty to lie to students.
Since DCEH has been flying by the seat of their pants since day one, they haven’t thought that through yet.
You can tell them at the January 26th open houses.
