Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Reduction of ASM

technically not a restructure. however people will be losing jobs. So they can technically announce that there is no restrcture plans BUT we are still going to see changes to lay people off

same verbage as with the CO managers

If the number of Asm's per store is reduced that is a restructure. If they just use quarterly talent reviews or yearly evaluations to weed out underperforming Asm's that is not a restructure. However, I would expect these Asm's to have Disciplinary actions on their file already if they were to be cut.

What does your post mean?

WM is going to let go under performing ASMs? Is there really an issue with that?

That’s not a lay-off. In anyway, in fact unless decreases ASM staffing levels then it can not be termed a layoff. Is a reduction in staffing levels what your saying?

Bull c-ap. Not happening. No lay offs. You saying some people are going to lose their jobs, well we lose people all the time. And if there is under performing Asst Mgr's that get a below standard then they don't need to be an Asst.
