I don't trust that severance package document. What can I do if they don't pay the extra 2 months like it's agreed? It says nothing how to sign up for cobra. Emails to HR will take weeks to get a reply. Funny thing is, some coworkers still going into the office. For what ?
My delivery center got hit pretty hard. About half of our DES staff (including me) were laid off.
Gigafactory is definitely impacted so far today. We have heard mostly people who are on salary. I have heard of a few people in energy. Also there have been process technicians who were suddenly given demotions. They were technicians and got demoted down to production associates. Also the head of gigafactory m3 battery production executive level was let go.
Which roles were targeted?

My sister is a Sr Analyst, Tesla BusOps and she was hired last month. She works in Fremont and works with Corp Finance and Engineering Fiance. She was told her job is safe and she will not be impacted. I feel relieved - I was very surprised as I felt Tesla was cutting edge and growing quite a bit. I guess they are not that much different compared to other companies (I work for one that has a busy board here - we have layoffs every six months or so, so we are in a permanent state of trimming the employee tree). the payout package is very poor. someone said it was like two weeks plus any accumulated PTO days. Sad but it is a musk production...
Computers being taken, network connections and email accounts being shut down for people here in Marketing.
