SAP Layoffs - How about this ? Read and vote

After the mass layoffs @ SAP lets vote on this -

How about laying off the top 5 paychecks @ SAP and getting back all the folks that were let go in the last week. I think the top 5 salaries will pay for the remaining 4400 Salaries. If not enough get the 6th and 7th. Chances are.... it brings in good than bad to the company. Also, it wouldn't affect the top 5 financially as they probably have made enough last few years (while making those bad decisions) @ SAP that they (of course along with their extended families and maids) can travel in private jets all their remaining life.

By announcing layoffs, isn't the top management agreeing that whatever they did in the past is wrong and proved unworthy and hence the layoffs to cut down the cost? Isn't this agreeing publicly that they messed up in the past by going on a buying spree and spending 4 times on an acquisition than what it is worth? And remember the drama in the press note about the acquisition? that the decision to buy Qualtrics was made at 30,000 ft while traveling on a private jet. What a drama.... and less than a month later....the mass layoffs.

We need CEO's and top leaders that stand-up and put their job FIRST before decide to do en-masse layoffs. Refer to what Disney said recently. We need CEO's that are true warriors and can stand up to take the first.

On the same week that we got our letters in May 2017, the SAP Board was justifying why Bill deserved a 16.5 million Euros bonus:

Couldn't Bill have asked for less and say, keep 200 jobs with the money he's not taking as bonus?

Bottomline is, SAP doesn't give a f about employees.

Judging on how quickly people are upvoting this post, I'd say that this is a fairly popular opinion OP

The layoff b---s--- and I agree with you. You are degrading your employees and their work. I'm not your employee but one of the family members of one of your employees SAP. And you will be regretting this decision later.
