Thread regarding SAP layoffs

The 2017 lay-offs have been whitewashed!

SAP is lying big-time when they said that the last lay-offs were in 2015. This is incorrect. I am one of the victims from the 2017 debacle and how dare they sweep it under the carpet? So, folks, you can see now that, in less than 4 years, SAP has removed more than 8,000 employees and it's becoming a biennial exercise. For those who escaped this round, don't be too happy. Two of my friends who managed to get a role to move to after being given the letter in 2017 did not escape this time round. Better to prepare your Plans B from now before 2021 strikes!!!

You're right about 2018, though from what I understand, the scale is smaller compared with 2015, 17 and 19.

There was also 2018 lay-offf. In SAP history, the lay-offs had occurred in 2009, 2015, 2017, 2018 as well as this year, which is happening now.

Is it that some businesses are totally collapsing or shutting down?

Based on the numbers I've come across, I doubt it's only 4,400. APJ alone is already 800.

I don't think anyone is clear of this round yet. They are going to keep cutting until they hit their magic number.
