grumpy because associates quit caring because they don't pay people a living wage and give them c-appy raises or none at all. Grumpy because people quit caring because they aren't appreciated for the work being done. Grumpy because the head honchos at corporate won't listen to associates concerns. Grumpy because they get paid a high salary but it still isn't enough. When will the CEO realize associates are treated like c-ap and don't care anymore because management can't manage properly and treat associates like c-ap? They want associates to work harder and harder but keep cutting payroll.

This is rich. He’s grumpy? Try going to work everyday here. He’ll be on the ash heap soon as the sport of Kings in bville continues.

We will go full circle. In 3-5 years all robots minimal associates. I believe we will outlast Amazon because of the quality of our robots, not our people. It’s not a shame it’s retail. Take the paycheck while it lasts.

The good news is, they will all reap what their sewing. They may be think they’re getting away with something but they’ll get it in the end. I do feel sorry for management because I know it’s got to be very stressful for them, and they have to do what those people over them tell them to do or they will lose their job.

I just read the actual story on this, including all his direct commentary. For that time, I was transported back to my days toiling in the dungeon of that company. His empty rhetoric, ceaseless, completely unrealistic demands, mixture of praise and crtiticisms, and vague, incomplete strategies to correct all his complaints reminded me of some of the sadistic managers I used to deal with. The phrase 'unvarnished truth' must be issued from H.O., as I've heard two store manager's use it in years gone by. ... I say it again:

Death to the bourgeois ~

I wouldn't want to be any where near upper--top management of this company right now. The pressures must be enormous, and there are likely people suffering mental breakdowns and heart attacks from it. Of the folks who simply climbed their way to that game level, through dedication and hard work, I feel compassion for. The Walton family and company board? They can bar-b-que their nut sacs in hell.

This is another history lesson human beings will never learn or remember: the typical response when the Super Rich fear losing their money is to cut everybody around them out of getting ANY. That's exactly what's happening here. Walmart is far from being ruined, they're still worth hundreds of billions of dollars, but that's not how they see it.

Remember: these are 'people' who would literally sell their family members on the black market if it meant that's how they stayed rich.

Maybe we should take his current key phrase and apply it to him...”GF It’s time for you to “Step it Up” “

Reading this calls to mind a certain French couple named Louis and Marie.......Y'know, the way things with these One Percenters are headed, we're poised right at the edge of another type of French Revolution. History always repeats itself, and not because we ignore it---but because we are incapable of learning from it.

Off with their herads, I say!

The arrogance of GF. I mean really? You cut and cut and cut everything and everywhere to the bone and then you expect the same amount of quality, caring and work to be done? Maybe GF should stock, push carts or cashier on the weekends in his spare time to help out. Will he? Hell no. He makes the decisions. He doesn't have to deal with the consequences of them

Geez. Let's see. You cut ASM's in NHM's, you cut them in smaller stores. Rumors are you are cutting them in more stores. You cut cashiers, you cut door greeters, robots for floors, robots to scan. Everybody from the cart pushers to the Co's. are worried about their jobs, everybody in the HO is worried. Every day someone who has 15, 20, 30 years with the company is walked out. You spend millions for companies that have yet to bring in a dollar of profit. Now you say that more pressure is going to be put on SM's. Trickle down pressure anyone. Now you wonder why people aren't happy like in the good ole days of Mr. Sam, well you and Douggie aren't Mr. Sam, not by a long shot.

Most store managers are grumpy because

of all the hours being pulled out of the stores.

Probably because the greeters got replaced by Customer Hosts
