In WD doesn’t matter how much you are smart, educated and hard worker. One day they would laid off you because of saving their pocket’s benefits and money for their personal expenses! Good luck to all amazing and smart people got laid off yesterday in WD!

what a stupid screwed up company !
I recall the rampant nepotism and the incompetent management that followed during my employ at Read-Rite Milpitas and WDC Fremont. The R-R management carried over to the Fremont site when WDC purchased the R-R assets after the Ch-7 filing. Incompetent management brought down R-R. I see that same pattern here.
Not yet to hit the core, it should be another ~ 25% GOODBYE before end of 2019, or early 2010.
This company couldn’t be more mismanaged. They eliminate some of the most hard-working, loyal people so they can spend ridiculous amounts on stupid stuff. Do you really need to fly in 8 people across the state for a one hour meeting? And the people that commute from other states every week? Sending dozens of people to Vegas just a few hours? These unnecessary expenditures and the egregious display of nepotism are just some of the reasons the company is failing.
