Yesterday there were layoffs at my location but today nothing,so far so good, all seem quiet. Does that mean that they laid off everyone they played in yesterday's wave, of course for now, or are they planning to stretch the layoffs to a couple of more days?

Not yet to hit the core, it should be another ~ 25% GOODBYE before end of 2019, or early 2010.
I can be more specific - supposedly big cuts in June and again in December. At least that's what my manager said.
Many more cuts on the way, especially if you are from the legacy WD side...
Past history would say they are not over laying off.
Next wave in 3 months so sit tight till June for large hit. The small ones can happen any day.
