When I walked out leaving everything on my desk (except my own stuff that I started taking away months before) it was the greatest feeling. My director deserved to take on the extra work that she happily delegated while she left early and took her 2 hr lunches. So many s--- ups that would not question anything.
I agree.... education is dead. If you’re motivated you can do anything. Everything taught at schools is behind the times.

Please don't conflate your this experience with real academic institutions. Very proud of you, but education is not dead....for-profit and their non-profit knock-offs are.
Those of you who just crawl back to GCU, UoP, or any other of the perpetrators are only perpetuating your own demise..stop the madness and stop supporting these employers by working for them.
