Just heard from a few culinary students, the culinary program at Ai Seattle was cancelled due to non payment of rent on the building. Keep in mind, this is a new building for that program because they were asked to vacate the last building that program occupied.

What a shame for a program that was so vibrant for so long. It is easy to say to learn on your own, but the majority of students in the program needed the instruction and discipline that was given and the Chefs at AIS were the best. The program was never marketed properly and the bachelor programs made more money.. I am sure the cash cows like Media Arts Animation and Game Art was an easier sale. Unfortunately, the cooks have jobs and the others don’t
Screw the culinary program. Get a job in a kitchen, start cooking and being a rockstar. Go to the library and start making recipes. Know your cuts and sauces. Work your way up. It’s really is that easy.

Though that may be true, the students, thus forth, have no more classes for the quarter. Regardless of the reason behind why that is.
Students don’t always have the correct information
Yes – this is true. Dream center did not pay rent on many of its properties because it knew it would be bankrupt. Folks in the corporate offices were asked to work from home because they were evicted.
