Tim Apple sits next to Donald President and Ivanka Handbag.
Trump loves the biggest. Apple is the biggest. Trump will s--- up to Cook. Trump will not abandon Qualcomm, however both are American companies and no corporation on the planet is as valuable or mezmirizing as Apple, so Trump will always sit next to Cook.
With Trump the advantage is with Qualcomm. Trump and the U.S. believe 5G is necessary to be globally competitive, and they know Qcom is the only western company that has done the most the 5G research. They're not going to let China get ahead because of Apple. Trump's ears must have gone red hearing the FTC, whose case was brought up during the Obama years, bringing in foreign companies to testify against an American company. It doesn't help that Koh is an Obama judge, and Trump doesn't like anything Obama.
Apple hates trump, and went as far as suspending donation to trump in the campaign. Do not for a second believe Trump would forget the insult.
