I’m a former employee, I managed to escape about a year ago before all this garbage started. The Dream Center should have been a good thing, but then again EMDC should have too. The biggest problem is that they never invested in their product, they just turned the screws tighter on their people every single time. There was a post saying that some DC people should go to jail over this. While I can’t really speak to that, it should not go overlooked that the issues of this organization started with John Kline and continued failure and decline followed each successor. They all are responsible for this utter failure, from not improving the product, to creating a culture of pressure and metrics metrics metrics that never accomplished anything but ruin the lives of honest people that tried their best to make something of a broken system. My heart is with every single person that endured working for this joke of an organization for any amount of time. If you were recently impacted, keep your head up and get back out there, and let’s hope that karma comes back around to those responsible.

You’re absolutely correct on your post! As a former employee that was impacted recently, I share your sentiments. I was EDMC, and thought DC would improve things with the purchase in 2017. It most obviously never happened. Now....for anyone that went to AIU, because we needed employment quickly, the insanity is being perpetuated there as well. It’s so very sad, these schools are being run into the ground by such terrible management.
