I was hoping an email would have been sent today, especially if the firings from Friday are true. I did not receive my full pay for teaching on Friday and received the generic email. I am teaching an online class and have students. It is difficult to focus on them when I barely got paid and don't know if and when we are closing. Anyone else feel the same way? Not sure why we aren't getting the information - I guess there is no one left to give it?

Would not accept another contract unless paid up front.
Yes and the former chancellor sent students a letter stating stipends were a processing error.. I’ll be shocked if this “error” gets corrected..
My advisor just sent an email promising that the payment issue is an HR oversight and not due to inability to pay. Said to stay calm and keep teaching.
AiP/AiO are meeting with Middle States about accreditation guidance Wednesday March 6, interestingly the last day of one of the three AiO tracks. Online instructors have there class assignments and student lists for the Thursday March 7 start, if the classes start, there will be online classes through mid April. The next AiP start is April 1.
My students are starting to post their concerns and sad stories in the class. The waiting is the hardest part and is not fair to any of us, but especially these students.
My students are participating. My friend has a graduate level class and her students are participating also. She also was offered a class for the next round on Wednesday. It is definitely hard to teach, especially when I am not really getting paid.
Are your students still participating? To be honest I am in week 2 and I have only been posting for attendance because I’m so stressed out and confused about what to do.
The lack of communication is definitely hard! I have not heard anything either and am waiting to see what happens.
