A big nothingburger as usual. Good job good effort the layoff.com
The Ides of March are upon us. Do you have an Outlook Invite for the office today?
Remember those who voiced their concerns over the past 4 years. Are they still employyed by Staples today? They not be on Monday!
Happy Friday!
Were informed today. Lots of good people were let go.
Not the managers in Livonia...ask them a policy question and you get a different answer...it's shocking. favorites get the better book, as they watch the non-favorites struggle like it is sport. Staples is always looking for new ways to not pay their people...it's a shtshow...looking for new job like everyone else there.
Come on Sandy "Jesus" We are waiting for your response
it's almost over, folks.
overheard a bunch of high end people say that more than half the SALS will be cut
I have to agree with you. And that's as a former employee who left on my own who reported to a manager with the competence of a box of hair.
It's a little childish to assert that "all the managers are bad". It just makes you sound like you probably wouldn't like any manager and just think you know better all the time.
There are still lots of talented and hard working people at Staples. It's still an employer to 10s of thousands of people. The problem is that it wasn't and still isn't changing fast enough. Spread itself too thin and tried to be mediocre at a million different things without fully committing to any of them.
But as sales people... you've been told over and over again that the model is changing. Of course they're going to keep you guessing for as long as they need you to keep the lights on, but anyone caught off guard at this point is just delusional. Take control of your career. Don't wait for someone to do it for you.
B2B AC group will replace SALs en masse.
Charming Looking over my back in the office when I go in. We have all been doing this except for the useless management and directors.
