Is it fair to say that a lot of you commenting about unions and not liking them are “christians”. Speaking so highly of your fellow man and spiting them at the same time. Tisk tisk

So what was the result of the vote?

Enbridge could easily do without Union Gas. We’ve only owned it for two years. Why would it now be crucial to our existence? That’s the kind of stuff union people tell each other - demonstrably false and serving only to jack up the emotions.

UG isn’t inconsequential... but it’s a speed bump next to the liquids business.

Which Union? There are several different Unions across the ENB enterprise.

Technically even professionals can unionize. Typicall called Professional and Allied Technical Employee's Associations. They can have a vote and have some muffins at their first meeting.

I'm not unionized employee but have heard company is pushing only for same reduced benefits and pension to the union employees.

I feel that after 2 years the company cannot be flexible to negotiations and continually move to non reconciliation.

Then striking may really be the answer.

Enbridge is not looking for best interest of both parties. More them they employees that have served loyal. It is not 100% completely one sided. But heavy corporate and more dollars to share holders
