Apologies for assuming you had employment contracts.
Not sure I understand. Did you receive a 10% payout, or a payout calculated using a 10% target?
It's perfectly possible to have a 15% target as your agreed-upon starting point, and wind up getting a 10% payout. It would likely require substandard performance or a manual adjustment by your leader.
Employment contract??? No, you’re misinformed. We don’t sign those in the US. In November, 2017, we received letters stating our salary grade and STIP target. Mine is 15%. I received a 10% target payout. I’m not lying about anything.
If you're suggesting they just arbitrarily cut your STIP target and said, "too bad", well... you're likely straight up lying. STIP target is a part of your employment contract. You would have a strong legal case that they broke that contract.
If you agreed to a new employment contract that changed your designation to one with a different STIP target, it's a shame... but you signed and stayed.
Finally, if there was a change and you simply didn't notice the 5% reduction in the target, go back and look at the docs you signed. If they are clear... there you go.
I got HP. No LTIP, and a matter of fact I received 5% lower target in my bonus payout than I was supposed to. So I only got two thirds of what I should have. I was told “too bad, it’s part of the merger agreement”. It’s not. I read the merger documents. But as my boss told me “it’s a great year to get HO!”
They have also posted two positions as my counterparts and are bringing the new people in at a higher salary grade than me.
I guess I’m not valued.
LTIP under manager level requires director approval. Typically goes to SME that are not managers, young high flyers that they want to retain, etc.
I got high performer status, and am below manager level, but did not receive LTIP. I’m legacy Spectra, in Canada.
Manager and up recieve LTIP guaranteed. Director and up receive options as well.
LTIP is a 35 month term stock grant. Here’s a dollar value/ stock price, collect the dividends and hope the stock price goes up. this year would pay out in December 2021. LTIP can be granted down to a specific level.
I got a High Performer rating and was told I'll be receiving LTIP - Restricted Stock Unit Plan. I'm below Manager level.
I’m HP and got sh-- raise and no LTIP.. just like last year.. keeping my options open for other companies
Long term incentive like stock options. Was it something new for HPs this year? Thought it’s usually managers and above.
What's LTIP?
Not all of them, that’s for sure.
