You can’t imagine how much fat the acquired companies had and how many easy employees have been spoiled year after year. When I say “spoil”, many just clicked a few buttons and done for the whole day!!

I enjoy what I get today until it lasts. At least, it is much fair than before.

Apparently the people posting above, missed the part of the study that cites his being "overpaid" by ~80million.

But I guess if you are one of the minions also being overpaid obscene amounts of money, you would think he "deserves every penny".

The silver lining to this, is that when the inorganic M&A machine runs out of cheap money and viable targets, the market will punish the investors who looked the other way and rewarded unfettered greed and avarice.

Until then, enjoy your spoils.

You have legally stolen from many, but hey, at least YOU got yours,

He's not overpaid, imagine how much money he saves without those two extra layers of executive management

I don't see how Hock would be considered overpaid. The company has performed really well for investors, employees are well compensated, there's no major problems / scandals.
