It is so obvious there is no future for anybody at Devon. Nobody is safe. The only way those on top know how to solve a problem is with more layoffs. Never mind that that didn't help at all any of the previous times, the strategy stays the same. Cut people to improve the bottom line.
If you can, look for a way out right now, while the job market is good. Just an advice from somebody who is nearly out - on his own.
