Something positive

I'm glad Enbridge did the right thing this year with this great bonus. We could all see it was a good year for the company and our business unit, but I think 99% of the employees in my area were convinced Enbridge would find some way to shaft us. After seeing that they didn't and are even giving us 5% extra, people are saying a lot of positive things about the company, and even about Al. I think this STIP has made a huge difference in perceptions and hopefully this is the way forward from here. I also like that personal performance makes a difference in STIP.

Actually we in Canada work 40 hours if not more... only the Union employees work 37.5....maybe check your facts before talking from your a$$

I see most of the people whinging about the loss of benefits are the poor poor canadians who only used to work 37.5 hours a week. S--- it up buttercup- it's time that you joined a capitalist nation and dismissed your socialist ideals of what a company should be. something for nothing, right eh?

Remember Enbridge has a heavy contract/contingent workforce which doesn't see even the smallest bread crumbs. The marginalization that this company festers within is either by design or it's that they are just too damn tone deaf to the morale of all its workers.

Sorry to ruin your STIP party but you cannot lie about the numbers they are what they are. The Stip is part of our compensation package and if corporate performance overall does well we all do well.

The 5% extra is approx $550 in my case and does not cover loss of benefits and pension that hero Al dished out.

It's a bone with no real meat on it.
