IMHO, DVN should have an Ops test given to each employee covering basic oilfield operations and fundamentals. Anyone scoring below 75% should be released from duty. That should get us down to the desired headcount in OKC. No doubt DVN has some talent, however, hiring managers have lacked the New Devon vision for quite awhile. Who agrees?

If they had an ops test all of upper management would fail and the company would be leaderless, much like today only a great savings in G&A.
Awww, sorry for trolling you, OP
p.s. I got laid off in 2016. just recalling the pointlessness of sweating the load.
Desired head count?! They’ve done nothing but downsize since 2016. They desired headcount is whatever it is to bring the stock price up a little bit more before they sell. Soon it’ll be the Exxon tower, or the BP tower and we’ll all be fired. Quit hoping.
Sound illegal after the fact.
The only test corporate EHS folks can is about their favorite gillato and coffe latte. Because what you allow is what will continue
