Thread regarding GE Digital layoffs

Rough criminals

Matthias and Binu have thrown away hundreds of thousands of dollars on travel and b---s--- slideware in BHGE digital. I can only hope this catches up to them.

Culp is Culp-able in this as well. He has had plenty of opportunity to install new leadership and make a clear statement about the spinout plans. Time to act. Enough excuses and delays.

What is happening? When is the next wave of cuts? When are we going to hear the layoffs of managers, VP's, EB's? Why are salesmen still employed here when there is nothing to sell? Does Derek know there is no value for the AI cr*p that remains of digital? Why the delay in taking next steps to shut down the remaining BHGDE digital?

Has any customer been able to see the “AI Factory” yet? Or is this another slide ware kind of product?

Everything that was produced by the San Ramon team so far has been born dead. This is becoming very embarrassing, especially for the ops guys that have to clean up the mess generated by false promises made by the digital sales team.

I bet no one in the San Ramon office has ever seen either a rig, or any other drilling or wireline tool.

Building fancy analytics models is fine, but you also need a bit of hands on experience on the problems that you are trying to solve. Digital guys need to stop building their products in a vacuum.

What happened since Matthias was moved out? The new leadership team seems worryingly quiet...

Would be curious to ever know what sort of “product” ever came out of San Ramon.

Ding dong! The witch is dead! Sadly Matthias will get millions as his golden parachute. He should retire in his native Germany before he ruins another startup. Derek's job is to shut down the entire "digital" enterprise without creating any noise for the investors, before GE divests itself of BHI later this year. Binu and his Indian goons will also get a good severance package and go back to Oracle or retire. All these years they got business class travel to their native India and other countries. BHGE digital never made any viable product. The AI thing is as fraudulent as those products were. Those of us who were unaffected in the latest cut should look for a job or be prepared to be axed in the next round over the next few months. Lorenzo has been duped by Matthias and Binu. No longer. But it is too late for everyone.

Will the new partner give them the opportunity to exit as winners?

Unfortunately these white-collar criminals will not go to jail. Matthias, Binu and his Oracle cronies, Arun, Dan, Gautam all enriched themselves while not producing a single viable product all these years. They went around the world peddling only the slide ware. That was the result of these clowns' lack of experience and intelligence. Hundreds of millions of dollars were wasted on developing junk products that nobody wanted. Lorenzo meanwhile turned a blind eye to the squander. There were a few skeptic people in Digital and OFS, but they were pushed aside. Lorenzo should now wake up and realize that the AI IoT business that remains is worthless. All the remaining Digital businesses needs to be shut down and the San Ramon office vacated. And no more Unify!
