It's been too quiet lately when it comes to layoffs, so I can't decide if that is a good thing or just the calm before the storm.
Has there been any news on more layoffs at JCPenney any time soon? Anything on more store closings?
I'd really appreciate any info.
I'd have to say layoffs are likely and I expect the store closings to be well above three. Too much shuffling around behind the scenes and pep talks of well don't listen to the media we are doing well etc... It's the same sort of BS that happened with Sears and look where they are now.
