As I have said many times, I gone through the 2 to 3 years no raises, bonuses.

Then when things got a little better, getting the 1% raise and maybe a bonus big enough to maybe make 2 car payments.

The workers age 50+ are so beaten down by the company after going through 15 years of yearly layoffs.

They are just grateful to still have a job, so they put up with the crazy workloads and abuse.

How many times did I hear the famous line Be grateful you still have a job , Be grateful you still have a job Be-------------

Year end bonuses cut 30 percent ..... Most employees not given a raise at the year end reviews. Hard to have faith in a place that cuts financial incentive buts continues to ask for more and more of their employees.

Grow up all of you it’s a global workforce and we’re all dispensable this is nothing new or surprising. It’s been going on since the 1980’s. Wang digital equipment Enron the list of dead or dying companies is longer than this thread. Every company has a life cycle. STT was lucky it lasted this long. Grow learn adapt or die

A few of on here have been warning for a few years now that massive layoffs are coming.

We have been laughed at, criticized and attacked.

Sadly we are the ones telling the truth and trying to help out.

If you think all is good at STT then do nothing and enjoy the ride.

For those who sense that something very troubling is underway act now before it is too late.

Ignore this warning at your own peril.

Actually so much of what has been posted on this board, is in fact, true! I've seen much truth posted here.

The only bitter person is the person who posted this thread.

YES, MASSIVE LAYOFFS ARE COMING BY 2020. This is not new news to anyone working at SST. Signs are everywhere that is will probably be worse than reported in terms of actual numbers of people being let go, thus far we can be assured they plan to lay off 8500 by 2020, my sources tell me the number will be much higher than that, especially given that the stock market WILL CRASH by next election , around 2020, if not sooner, as there are always those darn pesky "black swan" event that come out of nowhere and steal everyone's money.

S---s to still be working... especially at STT.

The high level bosses are very carefully on letting out information on which depts will be cutting staff.

The information is given out on a need to know basis , even then they are not going to let the workers know .

If they told workers that in 3 months maybe 6 months they are going to be let go.

The workers would start looking for a jobs which would cripple the dept.

It is possible the low level bosses have no idea until the high level bosses let them know .

Its bad enough to see your job outsourced to India, even worse when you see hundreds of workers sitting at the desks of former U.S workers.

Indian workers who been here over 3++ years.
