Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

Is it true that Verizon wants to acquire Frontier?

Got that info from my cousin who works at Verizon so I checked out the Verizon board on this site and there was word about them acquiring Frontier and CenturyLink. Any info about this or has anyone heard the same rumors?

Of course its NOT true. VZ sold CTF for a reason. Not to buy it right back.

Verizon still has their hand in the Frontier CTF cookie jar. Rumor is FTR is not working with ATT on fiber for cell sites. That has to be Verizon making that decision. Frontier made a bad decision purchasing CTF while agreeing to a no lay-off clause. Frontier needs to sell CTF, no future in Video.

VZ wants out of the landline business. They want to deliver everything over 5G. There's a reason they kept their video headend when they sold CTF to FTR,

Frontier will most likely be broken into smaller companys after bankruptcy.
