Wait so there’s gonna be a February layoff? Shocking... haven’t we been doing rounds since 2016? The new executives/VPs come in from different companies, and are hopefully told some direction from the higher ups on budgeting etc. if not then they’re just selfless individuals who Judge staff by who they like versus who they can count on to give an honest answer to difficult questions. I feel at this point the company I used to know had a culture of greatness when times were good, but with all the re-orgs/bringing in new VPs to manage the real managers there is a disconnect in the fact that the life blood of the company (the employees) are thought of as numbers rather than human beings, and it’s just sad to see that management views the hard working technical staff as numbers. Sure, cut G&A, but realize every time you do you’re killing the company culture. I’m gonna look for a new job, screw this big empty tower.
Great post from @XETf8kq-dwb.
