In the past several weeks rumors of more layoffs have started to circulate around the office, and I am so, so tired of it all. Really Colgate? Really? The enormous cost cuttings from the past several years were not enough for you?
Our team has been decimated in the past few years. We can barely manage to do anything in given time as it is, and you plan to cut even more people?
And then you wonder why your employees are depressed and lack any motivation?
Code of Conduct is useless. There are so many useless people in HR and Upper management.
This is just like Boeing and Wells-Fargo scandals and scams going on.
That's one thing that got worse and worse over the years at Colgate...favoritism. There are quite a few employees, particularly in HR, that keep rising to the top in a very short period of time for doing next to nothing or nothing special. It would be great if the company really valued and respected employees that work hard and add value to the organization.
Clean up needed in HR. Leadership is horrible all they keep doing is spending millions on consultants to "change the way work is done" the decisions made are horrible with no input feom people on the ground. Functional groups layoff long term workers with generous packages and then hire them back as consultants the next week making $$$ / hour.
Still drinking the team koolaid!
It’s a shame that employees feel uncertainty at Colgate about their future. So many good people were let go leaving the remaining team there to pick up the extra workload. Senior leaders don’t get it at all and there is a lot of favoritism there which negatively impacts morale (not that morale wasn’t already impacted). Colgate used to be a great place to work. Employees now seem to keep their heads down to work, work,work so they aren’t next on the chopping block,
Which Dept. ? They changed the guard at the top. Which is completely a joke.
