IBM is using Kubernetes to enable Watson AI to run on public clouds AWS, Google, and Microsoft .

Look how many people were let go in all the Watson AI divisions. It's an astounding number.
The real problem is that most companies would not use Watson. So offering it on other clouds which by the way should have been done since day one, is not a guarantee that suddenly sales are going to jump. My guess is that by the end of 2019, we will see that Watson from a deployment prospective has made little to no progress.
That's actually the best news for Watson in a long time. No longer shackled to a substandard cloud.
Was this the big announcement during Think? Seriously?
Reinvent and Ignite release a boatload of new feature announcements. This is just sad!
To me that is another size that the IBM Cloud is getting no traction.... And as usual, IBM's next big claim that will save the company.
Well it better run on more than just those 3.
