Dont be ridiculous. No, not all companies are laying off. Just companies like DST and SS & C that have outdated solutions and dont want to invest in thier employess. How about take a leap of faith and change the type of company you seek employment from. Contrary to what a few of you say, there are many companies out there that will pay for your experience. I was lucky and was hired immediately after my layoff. Guess what, more money amazing atmosohere and a job where my boss told me I have a job for life. You just have to want better because you deserve better. Things happen for a reason and I have never been happier! Oh yeah, I am definately over 40 and they wanted me!

Yup. Every company I apply to, I check to see if they are having layoffs. Sure enough, they are and even worse than DST. So right now I am also staying put. If I get laid off, so be it. Not going to start all over again at some company and then worry about getting laid off there. At least I know the hell I call my job. Don’t want to trade it for the hell I don’t know.
It sure feels like a layoff is coming, I am bored as f#ck. Something is up for sure. I’m not leaving tho, I’ll keep taking my paycheck until they tell me my job is gone. Whatever. Not like a new job is going to be any better everyone seems to be laying off, just take a look at all the other companies on “the layoff.com”, it’s bad everywhere.
