Should I take this as a good thing? Or start to worry about an incoming storm?

The last group of VERP employees will be leaving March 1. Will be wondering which small offices will be closed in 2019. Those associates will receive severance packages.
National Account Benefit Services announced layoffs 2 weeks ago that become effective 01/25. Benefits AE has just tapped up so my gut tells me more to come in the next few months for other work streams. Payroll year end is in full effect right now so I would predict end of Feb early March.
It is quiet now because as we know, its still year end. They need all hands on deck. Once it quiets down in mid Feb, they dont "need" the affected people anymore. Then the cuts may start!

Haven't heard anything. Not even the normal rumors.
There were some layoffs today in the higher ranks.
I wouldn't want to be a manager or above with no direct reports.
No one truthfully knows the standard severance. If you talk to those departed over past few layoffs, everyone's answer is different.
Does anyone know what the standard severance package is ? I have been here over ten years and I am homeshored. I know both of these facts leave me vulnerable. Any insight would be appreciated. Getting very nervous.
Layoffs? March. No notifications given yet. Expect by end of Jan to allow the regular "work out your time" standard, if it applies. If you don't get a coattail pull by the end of Jan, you may be safe a few more months. Key words "may be".
Depends on a lot of variables included but not limited to your B/U, geographical locale, redundancy in your group and so on. Sorry but it there is no safe or not safe answer.
I heard the opposite .. there is not going to be another ERP offering because of the unexpected large number who accepted the last one. There will be more layoffs, with a standard severance
What is enhanced ERP? Never heard of it.
I’m hearing an enhanced ERP will be offered to mop up any hold overs.
Im holding my breath through March. It seems like the last two years the end of March and also in August many of the lay-offs were happening. Its been eerily quiet though.....
I have not heard anything. However, I suspect the layoffs will continue until all of the highly paid associates with years of experience are gone. I think that recently hired lower paid employees are the least in danger of being laid off.
