Couldnt agree more. There are two sides. You hear what the company has to say with there mandatory meetings...go and hear the unions side too at a union meeting. Make decisions for yourself for your future. Ask company reps if they will have a debate with union reps...union reps will always agree to that...see if company reps will...what does that tell you.

@X9EWYEk-1gep. Enough with the fake news . Get educated on the union before you start running your mouth . This company could careless about you . You don’t start paying union dues until after the contract is agreed upon . The techs are the ones who have a say as to what goes on it . So instead of spreading false info do your home work . Better yet start going to union meetings and hear for yourself what they have to offer .
Why won’t the union show us the product before we buy? We’ll start paying, and cross our fingers they get us a decent contract? Altice is proud to show off the 2 contracts they have already. Why do you think that is?
Please don’t spread false information about the Union. If your gonna talk bad about the Union at least get your facts straight.
5 percent if your making 18k a year
Management has the rock land field service techs drinking the coolaid big time. All of sudden most of them are Anti Union. Most of them have no balls if that’s the case .
Union dues isn’t 5% dummy
All the union cares about is your 5%.
But a union does? Go away troll!
Chuck don't care about the "cable" part. News 12 was his pride and joy!
Extremely interesting article. It’s just a shame that the Dolans didn’t listen to all the articles written about Altice before they sold us down the river. They are the only ones that are surprised good people are being shed from the Altice payroll by the hundreds! Altice has dismantelled the once proud company Chuck built from scratch. It must be hard for Chuck to see his life’s work undone by a foreign interloper.

In fact, Altice founder Patrick Drahi told me that in his view any company that fails to make a certain annual profit margin should cut operating costs by 10%.

Sounds about right
It went great! All you could eat bagels and scrambled eggs! They said we only have to do the jobs we want, work the shift we want, and every one gets a big fat raise! But really, how do you think it went. They told us unions are no good and can do nothing to help, and we are much better off with a direct relationship with the company. And then told us we better not miss our morning appointments and should get to work!
