Hi. I just found out my has a long term illness. My school was one that was sold to the new non profit. Can someone please do some digging and find out what AI is going to do with benefits? I have gotten no where. I’m hoping someone is on here that might know or have heard what is going to happen with insurance. :(

You should still be able to obtain the insurance through COBRA, for up to 18 months. It gets a little murky depending on what bankruptcy a company is filing. I would call your insurance company as soon as possible.
Loosing your employer based healthcare coverage is considered a "Qualifying Life Event" and you can enroll in Obamacare, even outside the open enrollment period.
Insurance...HA! can’t see any dr because it’s not real. Plus if we no longer work for DCEH why would they pay our medical bills?!?
sdw of course they are seeing it - some just can't walk away that easy - first job then quit - no lag time between insurance
