Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased and excited to announce that The Art Institutes has become part of a new non-profit foundation, the Education Principle Foundation (EPF), and will no longer be affiliated with Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH) or Dream Center Foundation.
EPF, unlike DCEH, is not a servicing organization. EPF will not be involved in the operations of The Art Institutes. The Art Institutes will continue to be governed by its Boards of Trustees and I am pleased to continue in my role as System President.
To assist in this operational transition, some of our non-academic services will be provided to us by Studio Enterprise via a standard managed services agreement. Studio Enterprise does not have any ownership interest or control over The Art Institutes or EPF. I will provide you with further details on those services in the coming days.
The Art Institutes system of schools was created with the purpose of putting creative professionals on the road to doing what they love for life and to provide an important source for fashion, design, media arts and culinary professionals in creative industries. Together, we can chart a new path for them that ensures they will continue to with that purpose for years to come.
You will be hearing more about this transition from me and your campus leader in the coming days.
