Will we get severance pay at the end of this?
When do we start to teach out?
Or will the doors just close?

I was full-time faculty for 15 years. No severance.
I had two meetings cancelled today. No note from JC on what is going on? Something is up.
Staying with DCEH is how we will be dismantled...
Schools in such a disarray; not even good enough to go with EPF and SE
I know for a fact that these schools did not make the cut.
Go ahead and ask your superiors
I don’t have any superiors in this system, LOL, but the supervisors aren’t talking. Not a peep.
Im seriously doubtful These schools did not make the cut it is more likely they are better quality programs (not including AiLV - sorry but I’ve seen your portfolios) or are more profitable. Probably more profitable. IF AiLV is staying with DCEH it is probably due to tax issues and Studio didn’t want to take on that burden.
We’ll find out soon who is still standing and who is absorbed by Studio just to be dismantled.
Good luck everyone.
Ai Pittsburgh, failing and staying with DCEH
Ai Las Vegas, failing and staying with DCEH
Ai Seattle, failing and staying with DCEH
The two California schools are Argosy and staying with DCEH
Ai Pittsburgh, Ai Las Vegas, Ai Seattle and the two California schools that are staying with DCEH
Go ahead and ask your superiors; these school are not going with the rest.
These schools did not make the cut.
AiP and AiO have received no official word on anything other than the email from Brown and the email from Barton on 01/14/2019.
Barton’s email, 3. The ownership of the Art Institutes not being taught out were transferred to an independent non profit foundation not affiliated with DCEH.
Brown’s email, I am pleased and excited to announce that the Art Inihas become part of a new non profit foundation the Education Principle Foundation (EPF) and will no longer be affiliated with Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH) or Dream Center Foundation (DCF).
There is no note regarding AiP AiO or any other Ai remaining with DCEH.
The campuses accredited by WASC don’t have accreditation issues. It’s the other campuses.
If DCEH had the money to pay the taxes, vendors, and rent, they wouldn’t be restructuring. This isn’t rocket science... It’s about money. Stop rearranging the deck chairs while the ship is sinking.
They need to pay their taxes and vendors. I wonder if they are behind in their rent. Is that public information?
Whatever they do, they are not going to tell us. The seizure notice is still posted on the front door at AI Las Vegas and I am guessing that if they plan to keep the campus open, they will move quickly to pay their taxes. They have many versions of what the plan looks like to pay the taxes, all of the versions are different. I personally am not confident that AI Las Vegas will stay open.
Haha severance?! If you lucky ask all the people that just got laid off at the schools that closed.
With all the accreditation issues, I wouldn't be surprised if they just close the doors.
