I am pleased and excited to announce that South University has become part of a new non-profit foundation, the Education Principle Foundation (EPF), and will no longer be affiliated with Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH) or Dream Center Foundation.
EPF, unlike DCEH, is not a servicing organization. EPF will not be involved in the operations of South University. South University will continue to be governed by its Board of Trustees and I am pleased to continue in my role as Interim Chancellor.
This is a momentous positive change for our University and the first time since 2003 that we will not be affiliated with a parent corporation that is involved in our operations. This opportunity is not another book chapter, but rather a new book that we will write together as an independent, non-profit university!
To assist in this operational transition, some of our non-academic services will be provided to us by Studio Enterprise via a standard managed services agreement. Studio Enterprise does not have any ownership interest or control over South University or EPF. I will provide you with further details on those services in the coming days.
