That earnings release date is very late compared to a normal year. This year it’s so late that it forced them to amend the dividend payment schedule and put the record date later (usually 2-15, now early March). That illustrates how messy the books are. They won’t be ready and auditors won’t be allowed to delay the process. A lot of accounting adjustments will be made just to make numbers look good. I wouldn’t trust the numbers they’ll publish. Numbers will only look good to shareholders so it would inflate the stock price so JS & SB could exercise another couple of millions of Stock Options.
