USA doesn't have a deadline or have to 'accept'. You take what you got or go find another job.

they won't go much further I think because hock want's to have it resolved end on JAN the very latest to report successful cost cuttings already with the Q1 results.
i think there won't be much improvements anymore because a few people I know already have been asked if they prefer to be laid of (same conditions as TERM people) or will now accept the welcome letter and all improvements so far. I think by end of this week the improvement period is over.
